So  much is written about World War I, World War II and other wars that have transpired. However, much of the focus is about those that have transpired in Europe. So little is really found online about the wars that were fought here in the Philippines and that of the other Asian countries. This blog will focus on the wars in the Pacific and shed more knowledge about the gruesome experiences that the Filipinos and other Asian countries had to endure during the wars that have passed. Having a blog that focuses on war does not mean magnifying the wars and putting energy into this very negative and painful experience but this serves as a reminder to all that we have to work for peace so that blood may not spill on our soil again.

Though born to a land which basks in democracy,  we should not forget our past and our roots. We should continually honour those who fought for our rights and those who laid down their lives for the freedom we are now almost taking for granted. It is also important to know the past for as Edmund Burke wrote “those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it”.
